Enner Valencia was born on 4 November 1989. He was 33 years old and was born in Esmeraldas, Ecuador .Came from a poor family, when he arrived at Emelec, he had to sleep in rudimentary lodgings at the club’s Estadio George Capwell, as he had no money to stay anywhere else and at times struggled to buy enough to eat. He had to sell milk to buy football boots.But hard work and dedication saw him rise through the clutches of poverty.
Valencia first played for Caribe Junior’s youth system .After that he was transferred to transferred to Emelec. He played for Emlec from 2008 to 2013. At Emelec, he played 171 games and scored 33 goals. He was awarded the Copa Sudamericana Golden Boot in 2013. He was awarded the Liga MX Golden Boot in the 2014 Clausura tournament in 2014. He played a total of 68 m He played a total of 23 matches and scored 3 goals for Everton FC. On 13 July 2017,
Valencia signed for Tigres UANL for a fee of 4.2 million. He played for 3 seasons, 118 caps where he scored 34 goals. Valencia signed for Fenerbahçe on a free transfer during the beginning of the 2020 season on 28th August, 2020. He has scored 41 goals in 90 matches for Fenerbahçe.atches and scored 10 goals for West Ham from 2014 to 2016.
He made three appearances in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification campaign, he scored his first international goal in a 2–2 draw against Honduras on 19 November 2013. He continued his good form in 2014, scoring in three of Ecuador’s friendly four-pre-tournament.
In June 2014, Valencia was named in Ecuador’s squad for the Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup. On 15 June, he made his FIFA World Cup debut in the team’s opening match against Switzerland at the Estádio Nacional Mané Garrincha in Brasília, opening the scoring with a header in a 2–1 defeat.
In 2021, in a world cup qualifying match,Valencia scored his 32nd and 33rd international goals, becoming the Ecuador national team’s all time top goal scorer He has capped his national team 75 times and scoring 38 goals as at 20th November, 2022.
Valencia has 4 kids including Beira, Amelia, Annalia, and David. His eldest daughter, Beira, is from his former wife, whereas the rest are from Sharon.
